Drain Plug Size

Pardon the dumb question, but.... i have an older Valco U14. The drain plug hole is non-threaded, just under an inch 0.92". Should i buy a 1" or 7/8" plug?

Get an expandable rubber plug.

Just happened to have a 1" expanding rubber plug sitting on the desk in front of me. Loosened all the way, this one measures 0.92". I'd go with the 1".
