I just bought a 1990 Bass Tracker Pro 17 yesterday. It has a 50 hp Evinrude Tracker motor w/ tilt & trim that runs flawlessly. I will be mounting a new 45 lb thrust edge trolling motor today. I won't be doing a major restoration on the boat as it's not in bad shape. Here's basically what I have in mind:

- Bow-mount trolling motor
- Fish finder mounted at console
- Fish finder mounted at bow
- AM/FM radio/cd player - boat is already wired with speakers but the radio was removed at some point.
- I will replace the seats along and along as I can afford to.

The carpet and floors seem to be pretty good shape. I'm sure I will replace carpet eventually but it's not at the top of the priority list.

Hopefully I will get some better pics in the next few days.

I have a 87 Bass Tracker MV-16, and it almost looks identical to yours. Got any pictures of the inside of it, wanting to see how your's is inside.

Here are a few more pics. I also want to add a few more items to the list of things I want to do to the boat.

- update the console with new switches and gauges.
- onboard 2 bank charger

Anyways here are a few pics of the interior and the trolling motor I installed today. And there's also a pic of the 1989 50 HP Evinrude Tracker outboard that came with the boat. I haven't had her on the water yet but she fires right up in the yard so I can't wait to see how she does.

Going out in the morning for the first time. Gonna go see if me and the wife can get on a shellcracker bed or two on the Waccamaw River.

Well we took her out this morning and did a little bream fishing and alot of riding. The boat rides great. It is extremely smooth and has no trouble whatsoever getting down on a plane. It actually planes out at a little less than half throttle. I did have a little problem getting it to idle and then when I got over 3/4 throttle it would only run a minute or two before it would cut-off. I noticed the fuel line assembly didn't want to stay primed so I guess the motor wasn't getting the gas it wanted.

Anyways I ran down to the Bass Pro, which I'm lucky enough to have 20 miles from the house, and picked up a new max flow fuel assembly. Installed it and it seemed to remedy the problem. Ran it in the yard for 15 minutes or so and it never sputtered one bit and idled real well also. Guess I'll find out if I fixed it when I get her back on the water monday. Hopefully I can get some pics and maybe a video or two.

I paid 2400. The guy I bought it from works on motors and has a few boats for sale. He said a fellow brought this bought in wanting the tilt/trim repaired. He ended up having to order a part and the guy wanted to go fish so he just traded it on another boat. He fixed the tilt/trim and put it for sale. The livewell plumbing needs replacing and the trailer could stand a paint job but I'm pretty happy with her.

Took her out for an hour or so this morning before work and apparently the fuel line did not completely remedy problem. Taking her to mechanic this afternoon. Did get a few pics though.
