As some of you may know (from my earlier posts), I recently moved to a new apartment that sits on a small (roughly) 10 acre pond. Well, we finally got a weekend where the mercury climbed above 32º, so I decided to try a little ice fishing. Wasn't expecting to catch anything big, maybe a couple small bass, but I couldn't be happier. I'll let the pics do the talking!

The hole is 10" wide, so i'm figuring they were all in the 15- 18" range :D
It makes for pretty comfortable fishing when you can set the traps, head inside and periodically check through a set of binocs

Needless to say, I'm pretty excited to get out there this spring/summer at night with a jitterbug!

Blasted snow!!!

Nice size winter bass.
Looks like there might be a honey hole there.

Nice catchin' ! Be sure and mark that spot with a GPS for future reference :) :fishing2:

Hahah. I can see it from my desk

that's awesome man... how did you pick your spot?

I've never done this type of fishing, so I wouldn't even know where to begin

That would be the reverse of what I mentioned above. GPS a hot spot in the summer, then when it freezes over find the spot and...................drill a hole, lol. Just messin' with you guys, lol.
