I am currently in the middle of my first build. I forgot to take before pictures, and have already gutted the boat. It is a 1979 Eldocraft 1520 Pro, but the actual measurements are 15 x 43, so I'm not actually sure what the model number references. It has a side console and a 1981 Johnson 50hp motor. I plan on replacing the front deck and adding a couple of hatches to put the batteries and to store life jackets, tackle bag, etc. I plan on rebuilding the back deck with storage on each side of the gas tank area. I will replace the livewell/bench seat that goes right in front of the back deck and leave the console where it is. This will be primarily a fishing boat with the occasional recreational river ride. However, it is a possibility that it will be used for duck hunting every once in a while. As far as electrical, I can't decide what all want to put in it. This is somewhat of a long term build (as funds allow), but I want to do it right and place the electrical wires before I build the decks and replace the floor. What are some suggestions for additional items to add to a bare boat?

Looks good, I'm guessing the 20 in the model number is for the tall transom.

I'd keep it simple and open as much as possible.
