Well, the garage is finally cleaned up so my Tracker can come home.

But since the boat hasn't been run for almost 2 years, I've got a little work to do. Batteries, carpet, trolling motor pan, tires...

Once I get the physical stuff done, she may visit Sherm's Marine in Wabash, IN and have the engine looked at.

Thanks.

Dang, Seven - last time I saw a garage that tidy was on a Martha Stewart show
on how to organize your garage !! LOL

good job !! I know you will enjoy the atmosphere of neatness.

all I have is a double car open carport and it is horrible.
Today I measured it to see how much to throw away so I can bring my boat
in out of the rain . . . it will be easier for me to build a TENT in the back yard.

I just built a new shed to handle the overflow from the garage.

Ha ha :LOL2:

I had to do the same with my garage. Built a large workbench, some cabinets and shelves to make some room for my boat. It has helped A LOT with work progress flow and keeping things organized.

Hmmmm...I am jealous. My 1648 Lowe spends her summers outdoors, at the boat yard, tipped up and drain-plug out. Sun beats down on her and working on her is a PIA. I can bring her home for a short while, but it isn't practical. I have to do a 90 degree turn up a hill, backwards, to sneak her into the garage temporarily.

However, if I want to go fishing, she is only 15 minutes away and the launch for that lake is 200 yards from her ground-berth.

Garage porn. One day I'll get started on my beater project. If I can still find it.

Hang in there Doug! That's what my garage looked like last September when we got moved in. It only took me 10 months  :D

Heres the bench and cabinets I built. I couldn't take it anymore on how my garage was organized and lonely without a workbench. I built everything in less than a day. Plus I wanted it done before I started on the boat. Used pocket holes for the cabinets. They make it easy.

The finished project. Added a shop light, peg board, and a bench grinder stand that I can flip up/down with hinges. Can fit my router table, table saw, air compressor, belt sander/disc sander, a jigsaw table, under the bench. The little table to the left of the bench is my portable workbench on casters. My toolbox (not shown) is to the far left. I used an old door shoe/boot hanger for my clamps (seen on the left). The white board on the bottom on the bench is Polywall. Makes it easier to slide my heavy power tools in and out. The little shelf on the far right, holds all my boxes of brad nails, and the like. Built a battery charger shelf on the peg board for my cordless driils, and a wood frame that is suspended (left side of the peg board) for my elec. pencil sharpener. My woodworkers vice is able to be used on the front or side of the bench. I tell ya'. Having an organized shop is awesome, but I STILL want a bigger shop!!!! :LOL2: :LOL2: :LOL2:

Doug, see you have an Rigid Planer on the boat. How do you like it? I saw one at a pawn shop today for a decent price and it's in great shape.

You don't miss much! I'm a new woodworker, but I like it so far.
I've planed about 100 feet of walnut for a couple of projects. Easy to use.

If I could get the boat done, the woodworking would progress. Or is it vice versa?
I did squeeze this project in. The vintage rods were in need of some help.
Cheap pine. Not so cheap glass.

Great Looking work area Shoedawg =D> Hopefully my basement shop will look as good when I get it finished.

The garage looks great. Can I have that big bobber? With all these big fish I'm catching, it might come in handy.[emoji3]
