 7:45AM-12:00PM Calm then breezy, Early fog then turning partly sunny, 55-70 air temps, 61-65 water temps, lightly stained water. The second cast of the morning got me a pickerel on a white Boogee bait. Picked up another pickerel on Booyah jig/chunk in the thick brush. No bass on the jig so I pulled out to open water and started to work a Strike King lipless crank. Got a 13" bass right away. A few more casts and I had my biggest of the day at 4lb 5oz. Nice fight. The fish had a smaller then usual mouth but was very thick. The action stopped so I went back to the Boogee bait casting it around the pads and brush. Caught two more both around 12"-13". Finished the morning with the lipless crank getting one more LM.
