I just picked up a small rechargeable battery by Game Innovations that is rated 12V X 7.5 Ah X 20 HR for $19.99 + tax at Tractor Supply in Danville, Ky. Sealed, Model #12VB, 6" long, 4" tall counting space for the the male spade terminals, and 2.5" thick.
I have the Cabelas equivalent battery and a separate charger coming, to set up a FF and bilge pump lake water transfer system between live well and bait tank, running independently off the rechargeable batteries. Planning on a manual placement of the pump overboard for use with pump and FF switched at the battery box. This is for my 12' jon boat. All the central dual battery and pump and FF wiring will be housed in a mounted battery box from Wally, with a power buss for addition of running lights and a fishing light later. I'll run a permanent 2 wire line to the FF location aft from the box and the submersible pump will be forward by a larger cooler with a permanent intake connection to be set just below water surface for water supply to the live well with a tube connection to the bait well (a smaller cooler) with a drain through the hull rear the gunnel.
I only fish small lakes so this should be fine. I might add All here have a SUPER !!! forum for small boat fishermen. THANKS !!!
