How much Paint is Needed

Im panting the entire hull of a Valco 14. Useing Aluma hawk paint, everything I have read says it goes on pretty thick. Will a quart cover it? I plan to brush/roll it on...

I don't know the answer but most, maybe all, paint cans tell you how many square feet the can will cover. Figure that you'll need 20% more than it says because boats aren't like painting a flat wall.

Roller sucks up a pint of paint just by itself!
