Just want to say thanks to everyone on this site for the knowledge base to figure out what to do with my boat. I found a 2008 1448mt brand new at a local dealer. I have added a floor, carpet, seats, lights, lowrance GPS/sonar unit. It only has a 55lb thrust trolling motor for now still need a outboard any other input on what will make it a better boat would be helpfull.

55 pounds of TM is plenty. I am using a 45 on my 1652. Less is better sometimes but you will be fine for regular trolling and fishing.
