 7:45AM-2:00PM Calm, clear and sunny, 45-70 air temps, 62-66 water temps, heavily stained water. A very chilly morning but it turned out to be a beautiful day. My plan was to hit the water hard with reaction baits(chatterbait and lipless crank). Well the chatterbait only got me one pickerel and one small bass in the morning, nothing on the SK lipless crank. So I headed to the brush and started pitching a Booyah jig. Not long after I got my first decent bass of the day. Then it was slow up until 12:30PM. The wind picked up just a bit. Just enough to turn on the bass. I ended up getting three more on the Strike King lipless crank. My biggest was 4lb 4oz caught in 4 1/2' of water.
