Ospho, polish, or paint?

After pulling up my aluminum decking, I'm cleaning out the bottom of the boat and getting ready to reinstall everything. I used Starbrite aluminum restorer inside the hull. I have their polish as well. Do I need to sand away these spots (not pitted) that are left or did the restorer neutralize any issues? Should I use the polish as a protectant or should I coat it all in Ospho and prime/paint? It will all be foamed between the ribs and covered in aluminum decking.
