Fresh from the oven and smelling wondrous:

Tastes as good as it smells:

1.5 Cups water
3 Cups bread flour
¼ Cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
½ Cup crunchy peanut butter (you can use smooth/creamy if you prefer)
2 tsp fast rise yeast (use an additional tsp if using active dry yeast)

I used a bread machine to mix and knead the dough, when it was done and punched the dough down I formed a loaf shape, placed it on a greased baking sheet and let rise for an hour. Baked in a preheated 375 degree oven for 33 minutes after brushing the top with a beaten egg. After it comes out of the oven, remove from the hot sheet pan and place on a cooling rack. Yummo

Gonna have to stock up on peanut butter as the price is expected to increase next month by 25% - 40% or more due to the drought.

The bread smells peanut-buttery, but only has a little sweetness from it, not a very powerful peanut butter taste. It only has a half cup in it. I suppose you could use a stand mixer with a dough hook. I like using the bread machine because it has the timer and does it all. I don't like the bread pan on mine because it is very hard to get the loaf out. It is an older Sunbeam vertical style.
