Questions about connecting a circuit breaker

Hi folks. I have a Minn Kota Endura 46 transom trolling motor. I’m trying to connect a circuit breaker. A few questions...

Is a 60amp breaker correct or do I need a 50amp?

Will a 12” long batter cable that’s 4 AWG gauge work to connect the breaker to the battery? If not, where can I find this short cable? Is my only option to make one myself?

I just went through this for my MK trolling motor. I think this chart is part of all Minn Kota owners manuals. Hope it helps.

Auto parts stores sell pre-made, short battery cables.

I made a small tab from copper bar stock and connected my breaker at the battery post connection. Works like a champ!

I'm inclined to say that you should use a 50 amp breaker.

Thanks folks for the info. I picked up a 50 amp breaker and was able to find a short 6 AWG battery cable. Should work like a charm!
