Got out on the water around 10,fished till 2pm.
Day started off sunny, then clouded right up,pretty windy.
Temp.65(18C);water 67.
Launching the boat,it was almost of the trailer,remembered...Crap forgot the plugs, second time in the last month, man I'm getting stuipd. Not only did I forget that but I still had the strap hooked on the eyelet.Had to put it back on the trailer again, drain the water,oh well, gave me time to rig up my rods.
Off I go again, heading towards a narrow river that joins to lakes.Once there first cast with a spinnerbait land a nice 20" smallie.16.09.09 001.jpgThought man this is going to be a good day, pounded that area for the next 2 hours and only manage to catch 3 more bass, none over 13"'s.The next 2 hours I fished what I thought would be high percentage areas but only landed 4 other smallies, none being over 14"'s.Talked to 3 guys that were fishing out of a 14' princecraft, they spent the night in this16.09.09 002.jpg.It was powered by a 40hp Yamaha, had solar panels on the roof and a chemical toilet, anyways they were having a slow day also.I fished alot of plastics today,as slow I could go,they just weren't taking my offerings.I think I'll take tommorrow off to,I think they will be hungry.

Great report. Nice Smallie! It happend to me too with leaving 1 strap on the starboard side. The boat floated on port side and planted on the left guide. Straightened it out. Had to fix it. But atleast you caught fish thats all that matters!
