lol. gar equals bullet trap. used to catch gar on orange belly rogues while bass fishing in loggy bayou. would pull the small ones beside the boat and break their bill with paddle. the big ons, i just shot about seventy or 90 times.
the old colored guys that fished from the bank would yell at me to bring em to them. i usually did that when they were there.

Facts! I've lost so many lures to those fish locally here in the Sudbury river. We finally smartened up and started using wire leaders.
