Saw this on craigslist, looks like scrap to me but just wondered if anyone thinks it is repairable. Guy wants $2500 for boat and trailer.

Looks totaled to me too.

I don't see it possible to get a factory quality rebuild on that for anywhere under the value of the boat. Someone probably could do a quick and dirty straightening job to get it straight enough to use, but it will never be the same as an equivalent, undamaged hull.

That's also an awful lot of boat to pull behind that car....

Trailer is worth about $500. Boat is totaled. If it had a motor i'd say it would be worth a look. Without, no.

trailer looks ok in pic, but is it bent or twisted, axle straight? Boat looks like it is ready for the salvage yard.

I'dbe willing to bet that this was damage from the winter a tree fell on the boat the trailer may be fine with just the fender missing
he pulled the motor to mount it on a new boat
I wonder if the insurance paid him off on the boat and totaled it then sld it to him cheap for scrap
he is trying to get a double pay off even if you but it and dirt bottom price you may not be ablr to title it due to being sold for scrap

Could be. I had no plans to buy it I was just curious if the guys here with more skills thought it could be fixed. Seems pretty clear fixing isn't an option.
