I worked with a guy that was in the brown water navy in Nam.
He told some great stories about the abuse those boats took .

There is a guy that posts on another forum who also served on them. His screen name is RIVERRAT69, and a pic. he posted had him holding a M-14 topped with a nightvision scope. That's not standard issue, and he doesn't mention much about what he did.
I do know that he doesn't like draft dodgers at all! :lol:
