No word from TimeUSB on my battery order. A couple incomplete emails that mean nothing. Was supposed to get a tracking detail within 24 hrs. They did get the payment from my CC....placed the order Mar 6 , so expected some confirmation by now. How did your shipping go, and how long did it take ?
Thanks in advance.....

I ordered direct from TimeUSB. I couldn't remember the specifics, so checked my emails. I had a Paypal and TimeUSB emails confirming order the same day. A shipping email came two days latter. They were shipped Fedex, and received them the following day. It was almost too fast.

The day after the order was placed, directly thru TimeUSB, I recieved a confirmation on the order. Next day another email to confirm the shipping addres an after I confirmed that a tracking number would be sent. I confirmed the address but only partial, make no sense emails after that. Have sent three emails back, but have heard nothing...if I don't hear back in another day, will stop the CC payment...thanks for your response.

That seems very unusual to what others have said. I'd wait it out longer. You still have plenty of time to dispute it with the CC company if need be.

Do you have automatic notifications from FedEx and UPS? Sometimes I get those notices before the seller sends an email.

Just realized their emails were going into my spam folder... Sent them a message to let them know...hope fully all is back on track.....

FWIW, I had a similar issue contacting Eel Battery that has good prices, good products, but poor Customer Service.

There were five different ways to contact them, but they only responded on one. In this case it was WhatsApp.

It may be worth some investigation on your part to figure out what they actually respond to.

I was going to say their shipping was very fast, and customer service was excellent.

Glad you got it figured out before canceling payment.

You are going to love your battery.

I ordered a TimeUSB 140 Spart Battery on 3/4 along with their 10A charger thru them direct and order was confirmed same day. Got tracking info on 3/5. The items were shipped from different places. Battery from NJ and charger from CALI. I got my battery on 3/7 per FEDEX but had not gotten my charger as of yet. Last night I tried to track the shipping on it and found that it was shipped thru Amazon Ground Shipping and needed to down load the "SHOP" app which wanted to access my computer and emails in which at that time I declined and unistalled the app. I emailed TimeUSB last night at 5pm explaining the situation and was checking my emails before I went to bed and had a reply stating that the charger is to be delivered today as of yet it hasnt arrived. They sent me a link to Amazon shipping so I could track it and it was sent from Peregrine Rim Inc . According to the tracking info it was suppose to be here yesterday and is sitting in NJ to be out for delivery on 3/10. Dont really see how I am going to get it today if its in NJ waiting to go out but will see. I emailed them at [email protected] The thing is I could have ordered the same charger directly from Amazon and had it the next day but it would have cost me $10 more than what I paid for it from TimeUSB. The only reason I got it from them, Im on a budget.

My battery and charger came through TimeUSB and they were very good about communicating and everything went as planned. Had I read this previous to placing my order I may have had second thoughts.....

Recieved an apology from TimeUSB about the messages going into my spam folder, but in all honesty, it was not their fault. I should have changed cord there before getting excited. My battery and charger has been shipped but the tracking info is confusing at best, not gonna load a bunch of scrap onto my computer, will just wait a few days. Nice weather is getting me antsy to go I guess.

I wonder aloud if I buy the 100ah Timeusb battery (sans readout) if my MK trolling motor battery gauge will read it?

Also, would a group 24 battery work for a TM or should I get the group 31?

The trolling motor battery capacity left gauges, will not work correctly with a LiFePO4 battery. The gauge will basicly say it has a full charge, right up until it drops off the cliff.

I got some gauges that are programable, and suppose to work with LiFePO4. They were tricky to set-up and haven't convinced myself that they are accurate enough, to recommend yet. What I have been doing, is charge just before each 2nd trip. That leaves the battery near the 50% discharge point for storage. If you get a LiFePO4 with bluetooth, you get good diagnostics along with charge remaining info.

The group 24 100Ah TimeUSB had just came out when I purchased the group 31. It wouldn't have changed my layout much, so couldn't really take advantage of additional space. Also, all of the reports on TinBoats were with the G31. If the group 24 buys you valuable space that you can use, go for it. There is a slight weight savings of 1lb per battery.

Gotcha. Thank you.

Ya, from everything I've read, the TM batt gauge would do exactly as you say. Crap. lol

Only reason I was considering the group 24 is, I already have a plastic battery box for it. Cheap a$$ that I am.

Did you calculate the amp draw and runtime your TM requires ? I went with the 140 AH over the 100 to be sure I didn't run out of juice. I use my spot lock and also troll so better to have extra power than come up short.

Myself, just based it on my use and the LA battery ratings. Even our longest day on the water, the LA batteries were still above the critical 50% charged level, when we got home. Ours is mainly using anchor lock in light to heavy current, and some location adjustment, and slow casting tracks. I imagine trolling is what most of your aH are used on. With LiFePO4's, you can go well below the LA 50% without hurting the battery. So if you were good with a 100aH LA, in general, a 100aH LiFePO4 will be more than enough. I'd say that a LiFePO4 that is 75% of your LA ah rating, would be suffcient. Some say even 50%, but that was too near the margins for me.

Now, if you have the room, going larger will never bite you. ;)

I have not. My boat is electric only right now, so I may wind up getting the 140 just in case.
