New to the Forums here, Just wanted to post my rig. Any recommendations or suggestions welcome.
Picked up a Tracker guide V14 that was going to the scrap yard for free. Has a few small leaks but nothing that isn't manageable with a bilge pump. Bought a trailer on craigslist for 100 bucks. Was planning on taking out the seats and doing new reinforcements to have a lower deck but ended up doing the deck over the seats and used an aluminum ladder cut up to span the sections between seats which ended up being very light and strong. added casting seats front and back for comfort. Dual batteries, Battery switch with LED level indicator, USB ports and 3 gange switch. The boat is very stable and moves pretty well but am welcome to any new ideas to improve.
I've tried a few different motors on the boat.
Chrysler 7.5hp 2 stroke (14 mph)
Gamefisher 9.9 2 stroke (18 mph)
Mercury 15hp 4 stroke (26 mph) -Current Motor
