Anyone going for Salmon this weekend? I'm heading up to Ludington Mi wed night got thurs and Fri off and am planing to hit it pretty hard. The weather and fishing should be great. the last couple of weeks the city ramp has packed full on the nice(non windy) weekends. Just wondering if anyone else is going to be out. I also heard Muskegon and Grand Haven have been doing really good with the fish moving in close.

We did good Labor Day weekend but it was to long ago to give exact details, The Lake was flat calm, could have used a good 2-3 foot chop to clear out the holiday weekenders. Perch fished Lake Erie out of Monroe Mi last Sunday but didn't do very good ended up w/ 25 or so between 7 and 11 in. Launched out of Muskegon today hit the water about 1230 fished deep until the wind shifted out of the north and chased us of the lake with some big waves ended up with one king about 12 pounds.

Did the mature fish go upriver there? The big 1s here have already gone up and catching kings and steelies around 5-12lbs+ in the "blue zone".

haven't been out lately its been cold and rainy and windy from what Ive heard the river fishing has been good. I do some catch some smallies but usually its accidently while trying to get walleye. Its always fun when a good sized smallie smashes a hot-n-tot.

Ya weather been pretty garbage here too. There hasn't been a day for about 2 weeks that the waves weren't less than 7ft. I bet the Smallie must have been a blast to get.
