I'm in the market for a MinnKota bracket and hinge assembly for a transom mount trolling motor. Year and model don't matter but it needs to be in good working condition. If you've got an old broken down motor around with a good mount to sell let me know. I prefer the metal to the plastic ones. Need it shipped to zip code 55406.

No. I want to use it for a post anchor. It would be an easily adjustable way to make one without any more holes in the boat.

I don't know yet. Anything that fits, is cheap and will work.
 
I might look at making a aluminum bracket, Id really like to do this on my boat as well. I found the rods that bolt together fairly priced.
