i am in need of some who can help me with my rivets. i need to know if i can hammer them so they will seal again or do i have to replace them

That's a splash well, I would not remove it. Yes you can reset the rivets by hand. Best to use about a 1/2 inch solid aluminum or steel rod against the rivet head then hit it with the hammer two or three times. Have someone else hold hammer against the other side of rivet. I use a 4 pound sledge hammer. Check for leaks again, if it still leaks do it again. Good luck.

finally got started on the boat today
