Yep, mounted them and carpeted right over the top of it. Worked out pretty good and looks decent. I finished the electrical work today minus a couple things. Its completely finished and useable. I still want to bow mount the trolling motor but I'll save that for another day. yeah buddy!

bought the supplies for the trolling motor bracket. I included the "plans" for the mount as I had to modify here and there. The mount is made from angled steel so its super strong. Just have to rotate the head on the trolling motor and I'm in business. By the way those little speakers are freaking loud. The wife hates them. Great having tunes while working on the boat. I'm feeling good about the boat and I'm going to call it quits after I carpet the trolling motor bracket. I'll add on to this for little fixes here and there as I go. I love this site. I was inspired.
