Bimini top?

Ok I know there has to be some people using one of these on their boats. Is sharkskin better than canvas? Who makes a good one that will fold down out of the way when not in use? I need one for days when I take the kids out in the hot sun andI also still need to be able to walk under it in my alumacraft 1648 with 20"sides and I am 6'2".

Hey Steve, I'm 6'3" and here is what I came up with for my tin. see the bottom of page 21

I had to extend the tubing, taking apart the fittings and placing larger tubing over
the original then reassembling. It stays up all the time though. Hope this helps. Jerry

Same issues here with needing height and had one made. BEST thing I did to the battlewagon. It allows me to stand on the rear deck on the boat with it opened up and I'm just shy of 6'.
