I've got an old (66) Richline 14'er with a 40 lb thrust TM on the back. I cant get the boat to go straight, no matter what I do. Any suggestions or remedies would be appreciated.
I fish alone in a pond about 10-15 Acres. I usually have two or three rods and one tackle box. Normal stuff.
It really kind of drives me nuts, especially when the wind is blowing.

Thanks for any help!!!!

I've got my TM front mounted, but when I throw my boat in small ponds where I can't have the gas motor it behaves the same way. Weight at the opposite end doesn't fix it right? In that case I drag a drift sock behind the boat - slows down my speed a bit but keeps me on a straight line.

make a rudder panel for your trolling motor. i made one out of some 1/4" starboard (HDPE) and stainless hose clamps, but you can buy them ready made
here's a couple links
