Nice day on the lake up until the bow trolling motor burned out for the 2nd time. We were trolling in the AM for Walleye with the kicker and got some Walleye, nothing big but nice eaters along with Crappie trolling harnesses. Then we went for Crappie, got a few going along shoreline in shallow water got a few there, then as I was jigging my 3" Gulp alive minnow I felt a thump and I got this gorgeous 4lb bass! I released it and lost another nice Smallie! All in all it was a sweet day despite not using the bow mount trolling motor and maneuvering with the little 9.9hp kicker. :lol:
