installing above ff. what does the dsi filter do? is it neceassary? can anyone point me at a tutorial? anyone have one and what do u set it at? thanks

surely there is a utube vid that would explain its purpose/use. could also check out lowrance.com and see what it says. I've got a HDS 8 with SS and don't remember any "dsi filter", just a couple other filters for surface clairty and another one that slips the mind right now.
