We scavenged many ideas from this site before the build; then yes, two women built this boat!

:WELCOME: Tomboy.

Congrats on a spectacular finished product. I'd love to see any pics you have putting it together if you've got em. I know I shouldn't be any more impressed that two women were involved with the build, but seeing Country Girl Built on the side is down right sexy... =D>

Thanks yall! I am working on finding the before build pics now and will hopefully have them posted tonight. Tomorrow we will have some on the water pics as the fish are biting like crazy here in Tennessee.

nice boat - what a great job! glad to see other ladies on the board, too!
where do you fish the most? i'm in tennessee too - nashville.

Sweet boat. Great to have some fishin' ladies on the site.

Dumb question - what are those pink tube things in the stern? Are they for catfishing?

We are outside Memphis and do most of our fishing in the old river runs. Those pink things are my faded red homemade catfish jugs. Really easy to make and work great. Took the nephews left over swim noodles, some 1/2' pvc, and some eyehooks and wahlah...jugs! I am working on another build now with a 14/32 that I had sitting around. Gonna fix it up without the decks to sell. Still have not found the pre-build photos; may be on the other camera but I WILL get them posted, maybe this weekend. Need to take the camcorder out on the next fishing trip to video the invasion af the Asian Carp; we got overrun with them this past weekend in one of the old river runs.

Great work on the boat, also that is a very good looking motor, my next new motor purchase will be a honda

Yea, my dad lives near Memphis and says Asian carp are a big problem down there on the Tn. river.
Great job on the boat. =D> -jasper

I like the way you kept the deck low in the middle of the boat. Any project that gets to the finish line is a winner no matter gender or anything else and yours is a real winner. I heard a report on trying to keep the carp out of the Great Lakes by reversing the flow of the Chicago river at great expence.(this had been done once before in the 1800's. if done again it would cut off commerce flow). Some guy was saying that the carp was not a danger to the Great Lakes. What do you think?
