Found this on another forum. It's pretty funny. I think the woman comes from that generation who believes everything can be solved with rational discussion or heartfelt pleas. Some things maybe, but not everything. How do you say "stop eating my kayak" in bear talk?

Listening to that voice made me want to help the bear tear her stuff up. Her voice is more annoying than Jack Hoffman on Gold Rush.

I do feel for the girl as she was on a mission... which is admirable for Alaska.

There is a horse ranch across the road from me and they have a nice
John Deere that has a lot of plastic on it. Apparently, the plastic has soy oil
in it which the horses love !!! so if they ever have access to the tractor,
they start eating the plastic.... not much left of it.
Same as squirrels eating lawnmower parts and gas can caps..... soy oil.

i feel bad for the girl but, she was kinda invading the bears space....... funny jack hoffman. she probably left food in the kayak. i dont think her pepper spray had much of an effect either, she may want to invest in something a little more powerful for bear deterrent.

After hearing that shrill voice in the video, I don't think he was trying to eat the kayak, but instead, I think the bear was trying to find her camping gear, in the hopes it contained a fork to stab his eardrums with. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
