Waterlogged foam - welded boat

Question.. I’m fairly certain my boat’s foam is waterlogged, specifically under the rear deck. The deck is welded into the boat, so what are my options to rectify?

I really did leave out some essential info! Boat is a 2003 g3 1756 cc dlx. The foam I’m really concerned about is the foam under the rear deck. I’m thinking I can cut the aluminum on the side and basically make an access panel to get in it there, seal it with silicone. The one picture shows the setup under the rear hatch. I can remove the fuel tank fairly easily to get to the inside panels.

I cut access panels on each side in my tracker. The foam was soaked with water and gas. I put in new foam and used angled aluminum for structure and riveted the cut out panels back in place.I also left space between the bottom of the boat and the foam to keep it dry in the future.

That’s exactly my plan, except I may come in from the side. What foam did you use?

Go though the top you thank me later. I used Versa Foam it’s the best 98% closure. Used by hydrofoil racing teams.

I used pink sheets from Home Depot. I used 2" thick for most of it, some 1" as I got close to the top.

What is the reasoning for going in from the top? The side would allow me to avoid replacing all the vinyl. I’m leaning towards foam sheets.

Pour in foam would be tricky from the sides.

Another reason I think I may just use sheets.

In that case, then go through the side. It’s just hard to pry that stuf out. You in for a job.

"OnTheWater" has a thread that included a step-by-step on how he added two part foam to his boat. Might have some tips you can use. Here is a link (I hope it works).
