Which boat?

Hello all. I am a bass fisherman who is in the process of selling my BassCat boat. I want to buy/build a jon boat for reservoir fishing. I know nothing about jon boats. I want a 14'-16'. What brand do you folks recommend for stability? fishability? What brand has the widest beam width? Going to have a ton of questions so please bare with me.

if you can afford war eagle or bass tracker

Sea Ark, lowe, weldbilt, war eagle and G3 are some that make larger jons.

I can recommend the Tracker 1542. I have one and I love it.

Get the biggest you can afford... brand is all personal preference, and doesn't matter much IMO. If you can get your hands on a 1648, do it.

If your going new, I would buy what ever Brand is sold in your area by a reputable dealer. I know of 5 brands sold in my area(within 35 miles). And if your comparing like models from each I don't think there is much difference between them? So I woud go with the dealer that makes the best deal and seemed like someone I could work with.
