I have not had my Temp alarm go off in a long time. Years ago, it would go off often if I sucked up trash. In recent years, it has not gone off once even though I continue to suck up trash and have had issues getting it to pee again. It's a 2004 Yamaha 150F outboard Jet intake. Does anyone know how or can link me to instructions to check my alarm and temp sensor? I have searched but all that I find is regarding why the sensor is going off.

First off, the warning horn usually sounds as you turn the key from OFF to ON, but not to CRANK. This is to let you know it is working. You could put key on and find the sensor on the head, pull it apart and ground the harness end to the block - it should sound. Various places online list the Maker color wires for these leads/harness; maxrules, marineengine.com, etc.
