I can understand the concerns about the age. I will reassure you though, that an aluminum boat that is properly constructed and taken care of will last a very, very long time. Your boat looks like a solid one.
Like was previously stated, check it for leaks and make sure the transom is sturdy. Replace any rusted hardware with stainless or aluminum. As long as you don't go jumping beaver dams or stump jumping, that boat should hold up well. Lonestars are a fairly well known manufacturer from the time. There are a few others on here. I kinda wish my Arkansas Traveler had seats like yours. Good luck with the build!
